OMG
The pageant news came as a shock to me. Not the english (actually her spoken english in some of her video interviews at razor.com was pretty ok). But its the first runner-up. OMG is her.
Why are there so many beauty pageants?
The numerous pageants have caused the quality of the pageants to decline as the crim of the crop are not quite gathered in just 1 main pageant but spread out to different pageants. And over the years, less people are willing to join. Maybe its our society that emphasizes too much on education and career prospects, that nobody grows up wanting to be a singer, actress or beauty queen (ok yes there are, but most people are not). That should explain why my friend is the 1st runner up. The standard for that particular pageant must be really low.
When I was young, my mama always told me to eat and exercise more so that I could grow taller and join beauty pageants, be a model or be an air stewardess, but seriously I never fancied any of these. In primary school, I wrote that my ambition was to be a teacher. I didn't even know what an auditor is until university days.
There are too many pageants that we dont even really care much other than Miss Singapore Universe. Do you know there are other pageants such as Miss International, Miss Earth, Miss Planet and Miss whatever? Do I even know of anyone who represented Singapore in these pageants in the past? Poor winner (ex-winner), you could have gone unknown like the past few years' winners if not for that 'boomz' interview. Go scold the one who interviewed you.
Every contestant hopes for world peace but come on, we are sick of hearing it and somehow it has become a politically right answer. You will be the odd one out if you dont say world peace.
Miss Congeniality, Miss Photogenic. Miss Most Beautiful Skin ....... Then at the crowning moment, the other contestants have to kiss the winner. Oh man.. please thats so fake. Look at the Miss Singapore World's top 2 contestants backstabbing each other (i dun think the 1st runner up backstab her though). Come on, where's the world peace that you all are preaching?
I think the contestants all stand a chance to win the Nobel Prize award if Obama can win this award.
And also, can the first runner-up STOP creating news anymore???? I have seen and known so much news about her just during schooling days.
All these are none of business, haha why should I care so much hor? Maybe I'm jealous because I am not as pretty and tall as the contestants haha. But this blog is about 'ME'. I'll write whatever that comes into my mind.

U all can ignore this post. Im just pissed over an incident that happend quite some time ago and recent event has ignited the fury in me that had once died down.
Some seniors are leaving my company. She's leaving and I'm so happy. I quite dislike her when im working and when im not working with her. I bet she dislikes me too. At least I smiled to her in office, but she ignored me totally.
I guess I acted really dumb in front of many pple. Maybe I'm just borned with this kind of 'I'm soft spoken, gd-to-be-bullied' face.
I'm pissed but I dont wish to retaliate. If i were to retaliate, I can be much more sarcastic than this senior.
Sometimes, I think you are really blind. Are you blind or what when you praised the A10 for doing work so fast when the work is so easy to be done???? OR u are saying just to spike me? You sound sarcastic to me even when praising the A10.
One can do 10 good things and 1 wrong thing. People will remember your 1 wrong thing. Nobody will remember your 10 good things.
I stayed till 12 am, 1am or 2 am everyday to do the engagement at home. Nobody knew about it. They only knew that i barely met the deadline. Mentor manager asked me if I dislike audit. I said this engagemt's deadline is ridiculous. She assured me the deadline is reasonable. What more can I say? Ok so I'm slow.
Now the next person who took over my job came asking me how I had managed to finish everything in so few days. So now do I assure her that the deadline is reasonable and that I'm slow?
If u have conflict with someone on work, how do I regain friendship with this person? Can someone teach me how? Because if the conflicts happen frequently, I'm not going to be on gd terms with half the company.
Although I'm happy about her departure, I would still like to thank her imparting some knowledge to me. She did point out some important areas to take note of.
Only those with high EQ will do well in their career. Well, the sad news is I have low EQ.
